Sherida Peterson Chief Academic Officer
A veteran of Colorado public schools, Sherida Peterson is Chief Academic Officer for Hope Online.
Ms. Peterson is responsible for driving educational performance; overseeing curriculum, instruction and assessment; managing professional development programs and leading an educational team to increase educational opportunities for Hope Online students.
Prior to joining Hope Online, Ms. Peterson devoted 30 years to Jefferson County Public Schools where she received her start as an English teacher. Peterson rose through the ranks to become Chief Academic Officer. During her tenure with Jefferson County Public Schools, Ms. Peterson helped bolster student achievement and graduation rates and helped devise an academic and school improvement plan that received acclaim from the Colorado Department of Education. Ms. Peterson earned an EDS degree in administration and supervision and a Master's degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Michael Udlock
Site Administrator - Hope Online at Front Range Academy
Michael Udlock has an extensive background as a teacher for underserved students. Mr. Udlock brings to Hope Online an unrivaled passion for advancing educational opportunities and quality of life for all children.
With more than a decade of experience serving youth, Mr. Udlock worked with disadvantaged students at the Spring Branch School District in Houston, Texas, at an alternative campus for students who struggled in traditional school settings. Not only did he teach Theatre and Speech to the students in Spring Branch, he also assisted in facilitating an online curriculum program and participated in a number of initiatives to improve student life.
Previously, Mr. Udlock taught at Rangeview High School in Aurora, and in addition to devoting his time to kids inside the classroom, Michael has worked with at-risk youth and their families outside of school; he has held a number of guidance and counseling-related positions with organizations in both Colorado and Texas.
Mr. Udlock earned a Bachelor's degree from Hastings College in Nebraska, his Teaching Certification from Prairie View A&M in Texas, and is currently pursuing a graduate degree.
